The Ceremony
Welcome! We are very excited to share and celebrate this special day with you.
We hope to use this website to communicate as much information as possible about our wedding day, so that on September 5th we can all focus on celebrating. Please continue to check back for updates as we get closer and finalize the details of our wedding day.
Boston to Bristol, RI is about an hour and a half drive.
Providence to Bristol, RI is about a 30 min drive.
We are recommending that our guests stay in the Middletown/Portsmouth, RI area because it is convenient to both the Newport, RI (a 10 min drive) as well as the wedding location (a 15-20 min drive). On the day of the wedding, we will have shuttles set up for the guests staying in the Middletown/Portsmouth hotels.
The room block availability is limited so we were only able to secure one room block/discount code but there are plenty of options. Keep in mind all places will have a two night minimum due to the holiday weekend.

There are other locations and options for you below. However, due to logistics and locations, shuttles will not be available for those options on the day of the wedding. Keep in mind that there are Taxi's and Uber's available if you prefer not to drive.

From Newport: Take Route 114 North through Middletown and Portsmouth. At the junction of Rt. 114 and Rt. 24 bear left, Rt. 114 Bristol. Signs for Rt. 114 are unclear from this point so be sure to take a left at each of the next two stop lights, staying on Rt. 114. Cross the Mount Hope Bridge to enter Bristol and bear left at the fort onto Rt. 114 (Ferry Road). Blithewold is 1/4 mile on the left.
From Providence: Take Exit 7 off Interstate 195. Follow Rt. 114 South for approximately 13.5 miles through Barrington, Warren and downtown Bristol. Blithewold is located on Rt. 114 on the right.
From Boston, MA: Take Interstate 93 South to Rt. 24 South. In Fall River, MA exit onto I-15 West for one exit (approximately 1.4 miles), then return to Rt. 24 South, following signs towards Newport, RI. After approximately 7 miles, cross the Sakonnet River Bridge and then take Rhode Island exit 2 (Bristol/Mt. Hope Bridge). Go right at the end of the exit ramp and cross the Mt. Hope Bridge. Bear left at the fork onto Rt. 114 (Ferry Road). Blithewold is 1/4 mile on the left.
